FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
YEH CHUN-PENG's latest project, "The Force," has been honored with the Bronze A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award for 2025, recognizing its creative ingenuity and contribution to quality of life. Completed in 2024 in Taiwan, the project stands out for its bold approach to spatial organization, challenging traditional norms by introducing a visually impactful and emotionally resonant environment. The design's central concept revolves around the idea that different choices within identical roles can lead to unique paths, each presenting distinct challenges and emotional responses. This philosophy is translated into a living space that not only adapts to its users but also encourages them to recalibrate their mental states and establish a clear spatial hierarchy.
A defining feature of "The Force" is its use of a trilateral framework and sloped grid structure, which mitigates the rigidity of right angles and creates a seamless visual flow throughout the elongated space. The kitchen and dining areas are thoughtfully connected by bar counters and utensil cabinets, enhancing daily convenience and reinforcing the sense of unity. The continuous grid pattern merges functionality with aesthetics, while dark surfaces punctuated by fluorescent accents add dynamic energy and highlight the spatial order. Vertically ascending facades and streamlined contours further amplify the sense of movement and power, resulting in a calm yet invigorating atmosphere.
Sustainability and health are at the core of the design, with the use of non-toxic, green building materials that reduce carbon emissions and formaldehyde levels. The project's technical execution demonstrates a commitment to both environmental responsibility and user well-being. "The Force" not only meets the demands of modern living but also elevates the emotional experience of its inhabitants, offering a clean, organized, and comfortable environment without overwhelming the senses. This award-winning project exemplifies how innovative design can transform everyday spaces into meaningful and inspiring environments.
