Yung-Hsi Peng, Pei-Chi Hung, and Parn Shyr have unveiled "Urban Rhythm," a residential design project that seamlessly blends Eastern and Western art forms, shaping a contemporary aesthetic of Zen. The multifunctional sales reception center, located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, is a testament to the designers' ingenuity in combining practicality, aesthetics, and art to create a space that exudes elegance and tranquility.
From the exterior to the interior, the project showcases the meticulous selection of natural and original materials, creating a relaxing phenomenon in the greeting hall with rustic materials like beige Travertine, teak, and wood grating. The second floor, designed for entertainment and discussions, features metal installation arts and glass partitions, providing a visual focus and a sense of grandeur.
The project's unique properties lie in its ability to offer spiritual relaxation and peace to modern individuals through a fusion of practicality, aesthetics, and art. Despite challenges such as existing building height restrictions and limited land, the design maximizes space utilization and proper spatial perception, delivering a harmonious and functional environment.
