Dmitry Pozarenko unveils the inspiration and design of the "Sense of Forest" project, a stunning perfumery supermarket located in Moscow, completed in 2018.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dmitry Pozarenko's "Sense of Forest" is a breathtaking perfumery supermarket that draws inspiration from the winter crowns of larch trees, creating a translucent arch of intersecting branches. The suspended ceiling, made of natural ash veneer, features columns resembling tree trunks, while the cash desk area boasts natural granite and African wood, saturating the space with natural textures.
The 1238 sq.m. store, located in the business center of Moscow, serves as a hub for over 2000 daily visitors, offering presentations of new products, makeup artist master classes, and professional skill-sharing sessions. The project aimed to soften the urban environment and provide a relaxing, nature-inspired shopping experience.
The design overcame the challenge of immersing viewers in a stream of natural impressions while incorporating industrial elements, ultimately creating an environment that evokes natural landscapes. The project was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing its outstanding innovation and design excellence.
