FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Shih-Ping Chen's Leafing Page project is a unique multigenerational residence designed to accommodate three generations under one roof. The design concept draws inspiration from the imagery of "book pages" and "leaves," symbolizing the family's lineage branching out and shining in their respective fields. The project features innovative design elements that seamlessly blend form and function, creating a space that fosters a close relationship between family members.
The design team has meticulously utilized building materials such as solid wood veneer, glass, marble slate, Spanish ceramic board, imported wallpaper, tawny mirror, laminate flooring, and baking paint to achieve a spacious effect in the narrow space. The use of penetrating materials facilitates lighting, while the elaborate direction of wood grain adds a touch of sophistication to the space.
With a total area of 115.7 square meters, the residence features 3 plus 1 rooms, a living room, and a dining room. The layout planning integrates the study room with the public area, presenting a 3 plus-1 room layout that optimizes the space effectively. The project is located in Taipei City, Taiwan, and was completed in July 2021.
