FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Lead8, a design firm based in Hong Kong, has unveiled The Ring, a revolutionary retail development in Chongqing, China. The project, completed in 2021, redefines the concept of retail by integrating nature, culture, and experience into a unique urban destination. The interior design of The Ring intertwines retail, nature, culture, and experience, featuring a 42-meter-tall botanical garden, interactive sports and culture, and a creative tenant mix.
The Ring is strategically located in Chongqingâs Jinzhou Business District, adjacent to the picturesque Zhaomushan Forest Park. With direct connections to Chongqing Metro Line 5 (completed) and Line 15 (in planning), the development embraces a transit-oriented approach to provide convenient access across the city. This innovative retail destination aims to set a new benchmark for experiential destinations in China, offering a new-generation social destination, an urban natural community, and a landmark regional commercial center.
Lead8's design for The Ring showcases the power of biophilia and nature, pushing the boundaries of retail design and setting a new standard for sustainable and experiential retail spaces. The project has been recognized with the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022. This award acknowledges The Ring as a world-class, exceptional, and highly innovative design that contributes to societal wellbeing and advances the boundaries of art, science, design, and technology.
