FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Zuling Weng's Gemtree Club is a modern minimalist leisure space that exudes gentlemanly grace, offering a delicate and elegant lifestyle in the material abundant age. The clubhouse features a wine-red artistic paint theme throughout, creating a mellow and elegant atmosphere. The arc-shaped wine cabinet in the entrance hall, extending to the top, showcases the brewing of each wine with life thickness and unique, honorable effort. The linear light belt extends from the top to the wall, shaping the depth perception of the space with its sharp and powerful light flow.
The modern sculpture at the staircase threshold presents a sense of simple luxury, while a small landscape of mini mountains beneath the staircase integrates with the reception area's tea table, offering a fresh and refined artistic conception. The project covers a total of 200 square meters and was completed in January 2020 in Fuzhou.
The wine tasting area features minimalist and practical design, highlighted by red brick carvings and classic retro gesso disc carved patterns, creating a warm and thought-provoking atmosphere. The wooden grating partition visually divides the reception and wine tasting areas, projecting a shadow effect of virtual and real coexistence under the light.
Zuling Weng's design philosophy is rooted in the idea that design comes from life and creates life, pursuing the existence of artistic beauty in everyday living. His expertise in modern simplicity, new Chinese style, and American pastoral style has earned him numerous accolades, including the Silver A' Design Award in 2021 for the Gemtree Club.
