Chienting Chen unveils "Unfolding," a residential house design that combines flexibility and panoramic views, completed in New Taipei City, Taiwan, in June 2018.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chienting Chen's "Unfolding" design concept integrates flexible study rooms into a courtyard-like space, creating an unconstrained environment for adults, children, and pets. The 150-square-meter space features a graceful and elegant aura, with excellent panoramic views from the 23rd floor.
The wide-area public spaces serve as a hall for guests and a place for introspection, while the use of stone, iron, wood, glass, leather, and textile contributes to the cozy and flexible atmosphere. The project, which started in October 2017, was completed with a focus on durable tectonics and a mature warm style, meeting the client's requirements for a comfortable living space.
Chienting Chen's extensive research into materials and attention to detail resulted in a harmonious blend of different elements, creating a luxurious yet low-profile ambiance. The project was recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2020, showcasing its practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements.
