FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

La Place by Centred: Redefining Coffee Shop Spaces

The office space "La Place by Centred" is a new type of multifunctional exhibition cafe, designed to be an avant-garde space with a minimalist style and a pure image of Japanese. The space, originally narrow and long with messy pipelines, has been transformed to highlight front, middle, and back spaces, with a vertical movement line extending to the rear. The wood grain axis runs through the entire space, creating a unique and artistic environment.

One of the most prominent features of the space is the gradient latte color with a strong sense of hand brush on the wall, specially created for on-site lighting and veneer color. The space aims to provide an art gallery-like experience while meeting the needs of a commercial space, with a white diamond coating on the floor of the coffee area, providing a waterproof, anti-slip, and anti-cracking effect.

The total space covers 132 square meters and was completed in Taipei in September 2020. The design team, led by ZHEN-XI,PANG from China University of Technology, aimed to create a shared space where people can enjoy an independent office space within a multi-functional field, extending art and cultural life.
