Hsin-Pei Chiang's "Balance" project redefines family living with an understated luxury style, expanding living spaces to create a comfortable and elegant environment for a family of three.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In August 2018, Hsin-Pei Chiang completed the "Balance" project in Taipei, Taiwan, transforming a three-bedroom layout into a spacious residence that prioritizes family comfort. The design team expanded the living room, dining room, and kitchen to create a warm and inviting environment for the family and their guests. The project's understated luxury style exudes elegance and texture, providing a non-extravagant yet visually captivating living space.
The project's unique features include a marble TV wall with lively, irregular-shaped cabinets and roller blind doors, offering a grand yet dynamic visual appeal. Additionally, the wall behind the sofa serves a dual purpose, providing a display function while concealing the doors of the master bedroom, second bedroom, and rear balcony, combining aesthetics with privacy.
Utilizing a variety of building materials such as roller blinds, laminate flooring, marble, and thick tiles, the design team crafted a functional and visually striking living space. The dining table, made of two-centimeter thick tiles, ensures durability and easy maintenance, catering to the family's practical needs while maintaining an elegant aesthetic.
The "Balance" project spans 102.4 square meters, featuring a foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, and second bedroom. By removing seldom-used room partitions, the design team prioritized the expansion of frequently used areas, creating a comfortable and spacious environment for the family to enjoy.
Hsin-Pei Chiang's "Balance" project was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements. The project's seamless integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics reflects a commitment to creating a better world through thoughtful design.
