Gold Mantis Design Institute's Vice President Jian Huang Unveils the Dali Dongsheng Dusit Project

Gold Mantis Design Institute's Vice President Jian Huang unveils the Dali Dongsheng Dusit project, a unique high-end resort hotel located at the bank of Erhai Lake, Dali Economic Development Zone. The project integrates the Thai Duxi brand with local regional cultural elements, offering a modern, simple, and exploration-focused interior design that reflects the national culture.

The project covers a total of 31000 square meters and was completed in January 2020. It features earthquake-resistant high-security measures and utilizes wood veneer, rough stone, matte metal, and attan as the main materials. The design team, led by Jian Huang, overcame challenges such as limited space and congenital defects in the hotel's public area decoration net height, resulting in a unique and innovative approach to the project.

Jian Huang, born in 1971 and based in Suzhou, China, has been engaged in the design industry for nearly 30 years. He has completed numerous high-complexity design projects and has been recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in 2020 for the Dali Dongsheng Dusit project.
