FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Zsolt Szalai, an artist and designer from Vienna, Austria, has unveiled "The Collector," a unique wine cellar designed for real wine lovers. The 7-square meter cellar features burnished steel frames with partially colored insulating glass, creating a stable yet airy aesthetic. The walk-in room is equipped with special temperature control for wine storage and collection. Additionally, a handmade pivot door, also crafted from burnished steel, complements the cellar's design.
The materials used for "The Collector" include DuPont Corian, burnished steel, and insulating glass, with the project duration spanning from May to June 2021 in Brunn am Gebirge, Austria. The cellar's design incorporates subtle color accents through semi-transparent colored glass, adding a touch of coziness to the space.
Zsolt Szalai's "The Collector" was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. The design showcases strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder. The unique wine cellar is a testament to Zsolt Szalai's ability to combine art with interior design, creating inviting and harmonious spaces tailored to the clients' conscious and unconscious needs.
