Landscape Recovery Project: Scenic Path Along Guixeres

BATLLE I ROIG ARQUITECTURA has unveiled the Scenic Path Along Guixeres, a 1.65km pedestrian and bicycle path around Igualada, Spain. The project, part of the city's Green Ring initiative, aims to repurpose underused spaces and promote environmentally friendly leisure activities.

The project focuses on connectivity and landscape recovery, creating a dynamic environment that improves environmental conditions through the use of collected water. The path features a granitic-sand track, a linear lookout, and a plant ditch to channel runoff and enhance safety.

With a length of 800 meters already completed, the path has garnered exceptional reception from citizens, encouraging leisure activities and sports. The project is part of a broader intervention for Igualada, aligning with the city's goal of establishing a green mobility infrastructure.
