Aura Office's Office Design for Westland Insurance

Westland Insurance's new 5500 square meter head office in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, designed by Aura Office, embodies flexibility, brand representation, and a culture of connection. The office features natural elements and materials local to Canada, creating a welcoming and approachable environment for employees. The top floor, designed for flexibility, houses the reception area, conference center, bistro, and catering kitchen, which can also double as an event space when needed. The workplace supports connection, collaboration, and company growth, with modular planning creating a future-proof environment that suits various work styles.

The office design emphasizes diversity, with distinctive artwork, accessible signage, and graphics reflecting Westland's values. The space is equipped with 338 workstations, 38 offices, and 34 meeting rooms distributed across six levels. The design phase began in March 2021 and continued until September, with the company taking possession of the space in June 2022. The project was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design.
