FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Poggibonsi: A Unique Blend of Nature and Luxury

COMODO Interior & Furniture Design introduces Poggibonsi, a small apartment design inspired by the Five Elements Theory, located on the south eastern coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. The design concept is a fusion of natural elements - wood, fire, metal, earth, and water - creating a soul-soothing calmness in the home, offering a unique and personalized escape from the city life.

The apartment, covering 770 sq.ft, is a testament to the team's dedication to incorporating the essence of the Five Elements Theory into the interior. Each element is represented through carefully curated materials, such as marble, textured fabric, and metal trimming, bringing the vitality of nature into the living space.

The design team faced challenges in sourcing unique marble with ideal patterns and colors to fit the concept without overwhelming the small apartment. The result is a space that seamlessly connects with nature while exuding personality and intricate design details.

Alain Wong and Shawn Wong, the creative minds behind the project, optimized the functionality of the apartment by reconfiguring the bedrooms into a bedroom-study area with a sliding glass door for open flexibility. The incorporation of feature walls with curated marble representing each of the five elements, along with custom-made wardrobe handles designed to reflect a sense of water fluidity, showcases the meticulous attention to detail in the design.

The apartment's lively palette and diverse textures, combined with expertly curated materials and furniture, create a peaceful serenity that echoes the surrounding natural landscapes of Discovery Bay. The project, which began its concept development in July 2018, is a Bronze A' Design Award winner in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category, recognized for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.

COMODO Interior & Furniture Design's Poggibonsi stands as a testament to the harmonious integration of nature's elements into interior design, offering a tranquil and personalized living space that celebrates the slow-paced lifestyle and the vitality of nature.
