Hsin-Yu Hsieh's Ink Color design, located in Taipei City, embodies peace, elegance, and restraint, winning the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Hsin-Yu Hsieh's residential interior design project, "Ink Color," has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. The design concept focuses on creating a tranquil living space that embodies peace, elegance, and restraint, inspired by the art of ink and calligraphy.
The living room features a serene ambiance with light ink tones, complemented by a unique design element where the solid walls are replaced with wide glass, creating a visual extension connecting the sky, ground, and walls. The overall color scheme is of low tone, with the addition of 0.8mm wood grain stone plastic floor, enhancing spatial chroma while minimizing cost and space wastage.
The design's unique strength lies in its ability to reflect the owner's need for a peaceful environment due to frequent communication requirements for their career in education. Additionally, the incorporation of commemorative mahogany solid wood, re-stained and remodeled to embody the essence of "Ink and Calligraphy," adds a smart and elegant touch to the space.
