Tribute to COVID-19 Medical Workers

Duyi Han's conceptual project, "The Saints Wear White," is a powerful tribute to the anonymous doctors and nurses who bravely fought the COVID-19 pandemic. The interior walls and ceilings of a church in China's Hubei province, where the pandemic began, are transformed into a large mural depicting figures dressed in white decontamination suits. This innovative project combines art, architecture, and social commentary to honor the selfless efforts of medical professionals during a time of crisis.

The 3D renderings of this project serve as both an architectural proposal and visual art, offering a poignant representation of the sacrifices made by medical workers. The emotionally charged work aims to unite people worldwide in appreciation and respect for these heroes.

While the physically realized version of the project is currently in its conceptual phase, the images have already garnered widespread attention online, bringing positivity and hope to a world in desperate need of it. The design is intended to be physically realized in Wuhan, China, and in Italy, as a lasting symbol of gratitude and remembrance.
