Guizhou Sign Industry Association Office Redefines Modern Work Space with a Harmonious and Warm Design

CHINA -- /ARCHITECTURE/newswire -- Sep 14, 2019

Guiyang Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. presents the Guizhou Sign Industry Association Office, a modern and minimalist work space designed by Xiongming Li, which was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2020.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Guizhou Sign Industry Association Office

The Guizhou Sign Industry Association Office, designed by Xiongming Li, redefines the modern work space in the internet era. The 368-square-meter space, located in Guiyang, was conceptualized and completed between April and September 2019. The design draws inspiration from the changing needs and behavior patterns of people in the internet era, utilizing gray and white tones as the main color scheme to establish a balanced state of human and space.

Using an open and free-moving line function partition, the space achieves a sense of closure while maintaining an open atmosphere. The design incorporates industrial elements such as bare pipelines on the ceiling and iron-shaped spherical glass chandeliers, injecting an aesthetic touch into the space. The project successfully balances the professional, elegant, artistic, and aesthetic features of the enterprise.

The office features a large area of grille glass in the hall on the second floor, creating a visual effect of a time corridor and deconstructing the order of the space. The design team, led by Xiongming Li, utilized the language of architecture and the interplay of light and shade, line, and surface to strengthen the original sense of the space.
