QIDI DESIGN GROUP introduces Dragon Bay, an architectural marvel that blurs the line between nature and art, located in Zengcheng, Guangzhou, completed in June 2021.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
QIDI DESIGN GROUP has unveiled Dragon Bay, an innovative architectural project that redefines the relationship between human and nature. The project, spanning 11,823 square meters, is a contemporary experiential art space that seeks to harmonize the balance between architecture and site, creating a living scene at the boundary of architecture and nature.
The project's unique properties lie in its ability to explore the boundary between human and nature, while enhancing communal space experience and creating a deeper experiential space. The design principle focuses on the potential of site transformation, seeking the integration of artificial and natural transitions.
The landscape strategy utilizes a unified language to blur the boundary between natural and artificial, creating an immersive experience of multi-dimensional terrain height difference. The design features seven thematic highlights, including an initiatory journey, forest in the shuttle, canyon exploration, green walk, mystery valley, star river, and play in the lost land.
Dragon Bay's realization technology respects the height difference of the terrain and rational use of it, collecting rainwater to create a sustainable ecological environment. The project also integrates a sponge city system, preserving a large area of trees and plants while creating a self-iterative sustainability model.
QIDI DESIGN GROUP's Dragon Bay is a testament to the company's commitment to continuous innovation and exploring the high added value of landscape projects. The project has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in architecture, building, and structure design.
