Award-winning architect Yue Xu unveils the Mermaid Town Reception Hall, a cultural architecture marvel in Fujian Province

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Yue Xu's Mermaid Town Reception Hall

Award-winning architect Yue Xu has unveiled the Mermaid Town Reception Hall, a stunning cultural architecture project in the northeast of Fujian Province near Zhouning. The project aims to blend tradition with modernity, bringing new life to the countryside through innovative design.

Spanning 12000 square meters, the reception hall is a testament to the fusion of tradition and contemporary design. Inspired by the unique architectural types of the region, the project embodies the Oriental aesthetic conception of round sky, square place, elegantly blending with the natural landscape.

The exterior walls of the buildings feature a blend of white texture paint and hand-made gray brick, showcasing a practical strategy to address construction challenges. The project serves as a beneficial exploration for the future construction of small towns in China, contributing to the regeneration of urban and rural historical environments.
