Lion Design's "Xiabu Xiabu Joy Breeze" Restaurant

Lion Design has unveiled its latest project, the "Xiabu Xiabu Joy Breeze" restaurant in Beijing, a space that redefines the dining experience. With the theme of "relaxed party and free happiness," the restaurant aims to provide a space for customers to slow down and appreciate the simplicity and beauty of life while enjoying a meal and tea. The project, covering a total of 397 square meters, commenced in August 2020 and was completed in December 2020.

The restaurant's interior space is constructed to represent the Milky Way system, offering a unique perspective on time and space. It features open, semi-open, and private areas, as well as open and semi-open cooking areas to cater to the personalized demands of different customers. The main materials used include terrazzo, fireproof board, aluminum baking varnish, latex paint, and artificial stone.

The design team, led by Lion Design, includes Yan Rong, Jingfeng Chen, Fangsen Duan, Xiaoru Wang, and Dongjie Wang. The space is designed to draw people together, featuring modern, dreamy, and imaginative elements. The high bar counter, round deck areas, and seasoning platform symbolize the sun, earth, and moon, integrating the concept of time, space, and humanity seamlessly.

Lion Design's "Xiabu Xiabu Joy Breeze" restaurant was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021 for its outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design. The project has redefined the dining experience, offering customers a unique and immersive environment to savor their meals and engage in meaningful conversations.
