Studio Atelier11 introduces a groundbreaking office design inspired by the convergence of urban and natural systems, featuring unique triangular architecture and cutting-edge technology. Completed in February 2019, the project challenges traditional building norms and fosters human-nature interaction.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Studio Atelier11's latest project redefines office architecture with a triangle-shaped design that harmonizes urban and natural elements. Situated at the intersection of contrasting urban development and preserved natural patterns, the office boasts a visually striking layout that encourages human-nature encounters. The innovative use of triangles, including a 25.5-degree hypotenuse cut and a rooftop representation of Mt. Halla, reflects the local landscape's unique characteristics.
Notably, the interior and exterior of the building embrace the triangular theme, creating a cohesive and visually engaging space. The use of advanced materials such as double-sided transparent triple glazing and silicone paint from Germany underscores the project's commitment to cutting-edge technology and sustainability.
Architect Park Hyunmo and designers Park Geunhyo and Kim Dohyung led the project, overcoming challenges associated with unconventional architectural forms and construction complexities. The resulting design serves as a testament to Studio Atelier11's commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional architecture and creating spaces that facilitate meaningful human interactions.
