Introducing Yujintai, a 350-square-meter club in Beijing, designed by Jidong Cao and Xiuzhu Fan, which harmoniously blends traditional Oriental aesthetics with modern design techniques, creating a serene and elegant space.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yujintai, a project initiated in June 2018 and completed in September 2018, is a testament to the fusion of traditional Chinese culture with contemporary design. Inspired by Song and Ming aesthetics, the club exudes a sense of tranquility and elegance, offering a unique retreat within the bustling CBD of Beijing.
The design of Yujintai is characterized by its focus on restraint and balance of materials, incorporating natural elements and employing multidimensional combination and rendering techniques to infuse freehand brushwork and grace into the space. The result is a spatial harmony that reflects the essence of Oriental traditional culture while embracing modern sensibilities.
The club's interior, characterized by a rich line rhythm, flexible frame hollow-out division, and a collision deduction of various elements, embodies a calm and quiet aesthetic demeanor, inviting visitors to experience a seamless blend of Zen, modernity, and elegance.
