Yin: Flower Tea Packaging Design by zhen yang

Renowned designer zhen yang's latest creation, "Yin," has been awarded the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022. The innovative packaging design, inspired by the concept of scented tea, features laser-carved flower shapes that double as a night light, creating a romantic ambiance.

The "Yin" design, originating from Shenzhen, China, is a unique take on scented tea packaging, with each color representing a distinct tea product. The packaging, made primarily of paper, utilizes laser engraving to showcase the flower shape of the tea, allowing light to shine through the intricately carved holes.

With an LED light included in each box, "Yin" not only serves as a vessel for exquisite tea but also transforms into a charming night light after the tea is consumed. The project, which commenced in June 2021, was completed in October 2021, showcasing the designer's commitment to innovation and functionality.
