FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Don Lee's "Interesting White" office design, located in Shenzhen, China, has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2020 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. The 80-square-meter office, which doubles as a product showroom, was inspired by the Japanese garden corridor, aiming to create a high degree of liveliness and make the product the focal point of the space. The project was completed between August and November 2019 and features a sunken multifunctional reception area designed to facilitate business communication in a relaxed setting.
The office, situated in an office building with views of the Hong Kong coastline, serves as a showroom for an imported glass partition company. The design incorporates wooden floors, Mongolian black, ultra-white glass partitions, and lacquered boards to create a spacious and visually striking environment. The combination of light boxes, a guidance system, and the glass partition draws attention to the products, while the mirror creates a sense of space extension, highlighting the products within the space.
Don Lee's "Interesting White" office design stands out for its innovative approach to showcasing products within a limited space, effectively balancing the functional division between the exhibition hall and the office. The design team, including Kay, Don, Jef, and Ling, successfully overcame the challenge of maximizing product visibility and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. The design has been recognized for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence, earning the Silver A' Design Award in 2020.
