Straight Design Transforms Xuxuwear's Vision into Reality

Xuxuwear, a fashion brand located in Taipei, Taiwan, has opened a new concept store designed to revolutionize the everyday fashion experience. The store, designed by Straight Design, aims to create a simple, modern, and interesting space that reflects the brand's ethos of "Everyday Every Wear." The innovative design incorporates elements inspired by nature, such as terraces transformed into seating and display racks, a sunset-inspired mirror, and curvy lines resembling a lake on the ground.

The founder of Xuxuwear has emphasized the use of organic cotton, recycled leathers, and other eco-friendly materials to align with the brand's commitment to environmental protection. The 66-square-meter space features a seamless integration of architectural elements, including brushed stainless steel, walnut materials, and special decorative paints, creating a visual interplay between the indoor and outdoor environments.

One of the key design features is the use of stainless steel poles to create a focal point in the space, providing a solid anchor for the geometric lines that flow through the store. The design team, led by Design Director TingYu Huang and Designer Joyce Wang, overcame technical and creative challenges to bring Xuxuwear's vision to life, resulting in a space that embodies simplicity, elegance, and modernity.

By incorporating lively color combinations and a continuous stainless steel clothes pole that runs through the entire space, the store exudes vitality and creativity. The innovative display racks seamlessly integrate with the overall design, reflecting the brand's unique identity and enhancing the customer experience.

The project, which commenced in August 2020 and concluded in December 2010, has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. The award acknowledges the exceptional creativity and resourcefulness demonstrated in the design, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life.
