Qinyin Tan's Exquisite Office Design for Industrial Bank

Qinyin Tan, the vice president of Design Institute of Beijing Jianfeng Group, has brought to life the concept of "the landscape painting of Xuanhe Palace in Song Dynasty" in the newly designed Industrial Bank office. The 890 square meter space in Changchun seamlessly integrates traditional Chinese elements with modern materials, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.

The negotiation area, calligraphy and tea drinking area, and semi-open layout offer a pleasant and elegant space atmosphere, allowing customers to enjoy the surrounding scenery while waiting. The design, which started in December 2018 and finished in April 2019, reflects the quiet and gentle feeling of Chinese landscape painting, expressing a modern Oriental aesthetic attitude in a progressive and backward way.

The designer deliberately played down the impression of traditional cultural symbols and conveyed the historical and cultural connotation through lines, colors, forms, and textures. The combination of traditional Chinese element symbols and highly modern materials, combined with modern furniture craftsmanship, makes the shape and quality of different times seamlessly integrated, inheriting the classical ancient style while carrying forward the innovation of art.
