Lycent Lai's "Find Way" office design, located in Shanghai, wins the Silver A' Design Award in 2020 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Inspired by the need to optimize operational efficiency and functionality within limited space, Lycent Lai's "Find Way" office design transforms a 412-square-meter area into a harmonious blend of front store and back factory layout. The project, completed in August 2018, balances modern business trends with exquisite artistic style, creating a space that offers both external promotion and inner peace.
The design features numerous molecular chandeliers, brass brackets, and turquoise blown glass balls that diffuse warm yellow halos, adding a creative and aesthetic touch to the space. The project, which started in May 2018, aimed to emphasize a natural, healthy, and modern atmosphere by incorporating natural stone and wood textures to create a balanced, harmonious, and continuous flowing space environment.
One of the key challenges of the project was to transform abstract artistic expression into perceptible spatial language while enhancing business operation benefits. The reception center adopts a convergent layout, making the field more concise and resolving the limitations of the original space. The design also includes a conference room in the hall, breaking the serious atmosphere while highlighting the industrial attribute and cultural connotation of the space.
