Leo Lin's office design, Realm of Transition, blends medieval nautical styling with environmental conservation, creating a bold and unique workspace. Completed in June 2019 in Taipei City, Taiwan, this project won the Silver A' Design Award in 2020.

Zoom Interior Design Studio's Realm of Transition
Leo Lin's office design, Realm of Transition, is a captivating blend of medieval nautical styling and environmental conservation. Inspired by the spirit of Magellan's uncharted endeavors, this 275 square meter office space in Taipei City, Taiwan, was transformed into a bold and unique workspace.
The design features light grey walls complementing the corporate logo, with motifs symbolizing determination and transcending time. Nautical elements such as hemp rope, arched beams, round rods, canvas, ship side boards, and oak barrels were incorporated, creating a medieval cabin ambiance.
The office of the chairman showcases cabin handles and medieval nautical charts, symbolizing the adventurous spirit of sailing through uncharted waters. The design team utilized sustainable practices, including recycled timber pallets and disused oak barrels, along with high-tech print-outs to replace actual timber materials.
