Agape and Poliform Flagship Store

Hao Chen, a design director and manager, has unveiled the Agape and Poliform flagship store in Taichung, Taiwan. The showroom, designed to accommodate the brands' elegant and ever-changing product lines, is a testament to simplicity, beauty, and eco-friendliness.

The space, predominantly adorned in black, white, and grey, harnesses the natural light from the building's large windows, creating a dynamic atmosphere that evolves throughout the day. By integrating the original building structure and leveraging minimalistic design elements, Chen has crafted a space that provides a fitting backdrop for the products without overshadowing them.

Chen's design received the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness in incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology. The store project commenced in October 2019 and was completed in June 2020, overcoming challenges such as integrating the building's structure, managing light and shadow, and ensuring a smooth traffic flow within the space.
