Commercial Space Design by Michael Tu

Arch Design's Michael Tu has unveiled the innovative "Dream Builder" project, a unique cold chain enterprise headquarters located in Chiayi City, Taiwan. Completed in September 2020, this project represents a new outset for urban development, combining functionality with aesthetics to create a sustainable and visually striking corporate headquarters.

The project draws inspiration from nature, ecology, cultural and creative management, urban visioning, and sustainable environmental protection. It features a colorful, dreamy factory design that embodies the Bauhaus essence of functionalism, faithfulness to materials, and people-oriented approach. The use of stones, architectural concrete, spliced unpainted wood panels, and modern concrete grinding stone floorings showcases a commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly materials.

By applying a semi-modular construction method, the design integrates huge external iron frames to create a surrealistic sense, while the outdoor paints and lighting arrangements contribute to a dynamic aesthetic. The project's unique properties lie in its ability to transform the freshness valued by the cold chain operation system into a new and breakthrough design, creating a visually stunning and functional space.

Michael Tu's "Dream Builder" project has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design. Arch Design, founded in 1998, is known for its ability to provide comprehensive design schemes, with a team of professional designers from diverse backgrounds.
