ZHOYU unveils Tianjin Zarsion, an innovative exhibition center, completed in March 2020 in Tianjin Municipality, China, with a design inspired by the meandering tributary of the Yongding River, offering a new experience in architecture and interaction.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ZHOYU presents Tianjin Zarsion, an exceptional exhibition center designed to establish a connection with the historical environment, featuring a water drop-shaped layout that creates a captivating and intuitive architectural experience. The building, dominated by a wood structure and supplemented by steel, boasts a directionless floating roof, offering a charming tranquility with the swaying shadows of the trees.
The interior boasts a column-free space and an outdoor cantilever, while the use of smoke-gray aluminum-magnesium plates, ultra-white tempered glass, and small faceted spruce suspended ceiling creates an honest expression of microscopic stress. The design also incorporates a unique entrance space defined by three exposed diagonal wooden posts, leading visitors to an exhibition space covered with soft and quiet light.
The project, initiated in July 2019, was completed in March 2020, with a focus on integrating innovative architectural space design with appropriate business and industrial operation concepts to create long-term value for clients and the city. Tianjin Zarsion was awarded the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its exceptional and highly innovative design that contributes to societal wellbeing.
