FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Double Bass 23: A Modern Residence

Marx Chuang presents Double Bass 23, a modern residence inspired by the calm and artistic background of a thoughtful couple. The design team carefully selected building materials such as stone, steel, wood, and leather to create a space that restores the nature of raw materials, resulting in a tonally harmonious and visually concentrated environment.

The 403.3 square meter apartment, located on the 23rd floor, features an open public area with a logical layout based on wind direction, sunlight, and thermal environment. The project's unique positioning and layout provide a comfortable and private living space for each family member.

The design team overcame construction challenges to complete the project within 10 months, ensuring precision and seamless installation of the finished products. The space is designed to be energy efficient and to reduce the carbon footprint, considering external factors such as monsoons, high temperature, and high humidity in Taiwan.

Marx Chuang's Double Bass 23 was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design, incorporating best practices in art, science, design, and technology to improve the quality of life.
