Vanke Violet Palace Sales Center: A Fusion of Modern and Traditional Chinese Design

Inspired by the 10-mile bustling villages, the Vanke Violet Palace Sales Center adopts a simplified design of overlapping, folding beams, creating a contemporary texture while alluding to traditional prosperity. The space features a cultural creation area highlighting sustainable living, warm wooden furniture, and fresh flower art, fostering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

The project integrates the essence of traditional Chinese culture, showcasing the mortise and tenon structure in the reception area, achieving integrity, transparency, and Chinese aesthetics. The children's area continues the overall atmosphere with spaces dedicated to parent-child interaction, manual activities, and an aquarium.

Finished in June 2021, the design project was located in Changchun, China, and presented unique challenges that were overcome through creative and technical expertise. The interior design features wood veneer, rock slabs, and inkstone, enhancing the rustic atmosphere of the space.
