Renovation Project "Tranquil Spring" by Kai-Bo Chen Completed in New Taipei City, Taiwan

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Renovation of a 20-Year-Old Residence for Three Generations

Kai-Bo Chen, a renowned interior designer, has completed the renovation project "Tranquil Spring" in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The project involved the transformation of a 20-year-old residence to accommodate a family of three generations. The design focused on integrating natural elements and enhancing everyday functionality while eliminating unnecessary decorations.

The renovation addressed structural issues such as water leakage, floor inclination, and exterior wall repairs. Notably, the design team creatively resolved beam-related challenges, incorporating storage solutions and optimizing the kitchen-dining area. The use of natural stone patterns and wood created a serene ambiance, reminiscent of living amidst the mountains.

The project, spanning 124 square meters, was completed on June 4th, 2019, and received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2020 for its innovative and practical approach to interior space design.
