MAKET DESIGN unveils "Hello Papaya," a jungle-inspired cafe in Moscow, awarded Silver in A' Design Award 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MAKET DESIGN introduces "Hello Papaya," a jungle-themed cafe in the SOK VTB Business Center, Moscow. The design aims to create a tropical atmosphere using simple and clean forms, abstract geometric shapes, and meshes, with a focus on healthy food and bright tropical themes.
The interior is divided into three parts: fast bar seatings, classic dining seating area, and a comfortable sofa seating area, all designed for visitor convenience. The project, which began in late 2019, was completed and opened in July 2020.
The design features a disk-sun rising from the horizon of the rainforest, highlighting a soft area with sofas, and a large metal "cloud" above the counter, indicating the pick-up area. The calm gray walls serve as a monochrome background for the brand's rich colors and draw attention to decorative elements.
Materials used include plaster, paint, handmade terrazzo tiles, PVC floors, metallic frames with meshes, and furniture/lighting from various brands such as Delo Design, La Forma, Cosmo, Ledgo, Romatti, and Barline.
The project was realized by Nikolay Yarin, Ilya Plotnikov, Marina Ezerskaya, and Andrey Volkhonsky.
The design won the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognized for its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.
