Futuristic Urban Carnival Unveiled: Mking Party K
Kuanxi Li's Mking Party K is a revolutionary design project that defies traditional spatial concepts, immersing visitors in a futuristic urban carnival. Inspired by Louis Kahn's philosophy, the design aims to blur the boundaries between reality and illusion, creating a space that transports individuals to a different dimension through time and space.
The design features deformed walls that evoke a sense of weightlessness, while the high reflectivity of the water corrugated stainless steel ceiling creates a kaleidoscopic fantasy. The space is brought to life through a combination of rationality and sensibility, stimulating visitors' senses and generating instant scenes and emotions.
Located in Nanjing, China, the project commenced in August 2021 and was completed in January 2022. Mking Party K is a testament to Kuanxi Li's innovative approach to spatial design, challenging the status quo and redefining the possibilities of immersive experiences.
