Dongqian Lake Sales Office: A Space-Inspired Design

Designed by Yaonian Li, the Dongqian Lake Sales Office draws inspiration from outer space, featuring a futuristic design concept. Located on the banks of Dongqian Lake, the project resembles a space ship floating on the water, incorporating angular elements and folding metal materials to create a unique and innovative interior space.

The interior space of the sales office is characterized by a minimalist color scheme of white and black, infused with blue elements to evoke a sense of science and technology. The use of glass fiber reinforced plastic material for furniture enhances energy conservation and environmental sustainability, aligning with modern design trends.

The walls of the sales office are constructed using metal plates with folding lines, while the soft furnishings are made of fiberglass, contributing to the overall sleek and modern aesthetic. The negotiation table and chairs are also made of glass fiber reinforced plastics, reducing material consumption and waste.

Large French windows maximize natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting and promoting energy efficiency. The ground is paved with large stones to minimize material processing and waste, reflecting the designer's commitment to sustainable design practices.

The Dongqian Lake Sales Office project commenced in May 2019 in Shanghai and was completed in September 2019 in Ningbo. The design process involved meticulous attention to detail, overcoming technical and construction challenges to bring the futuristic vision to life.

Yaonian Li's innovative approach to space design, blending Eastern and Western influences, has earned international recognition. With a background in international design concepts and a keen understanding of fashion, art, and culture, Yaonian Li continues to push boundaries and create spaces that resonate with a global audience.
