Located in the prime area of Xin Tian Di, Shanghai, Simple Training is a fitness center that prioritizes health and well-being. Unlike traditional gyms with a nightclub atmosphere, this project focuses on creating a serene and professional exercise space, promoting a stress-free environment for fitness enthusiasts.
The interior design of Simple Training reflects a return to the origins of fitness, with a focus on simplicity and a single-minded dedication to health. The use of soft sunlight, natural materials, and ample natural lighting creates a bright and welcoming space, fostering a sense of comfort and tranquility.
The layout of the gym is carefully designed to optimize circulation paths, with a square layout to aid movement of air and energy. Special attention is given to creating a harmonious and functional space, with considerations for Fengshui principles to enhance the overall experience.
With a focus on diversity and versatility, the gym offers yoga courses and a variety of exercise programs. The design emphasizes privacy and modern aesthetics, incorporating natural materials and blank color layouts in the bathrooms to create a tranquil and welcoming environment.
Simple Training was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach to gym design. The project successfully reimagines the modern gym experience, prioritizing health and well-being in a serene and professional environment.
