ONE-CU Interior Design Lab introduces Xi'an Vanke Pleasant Mansion, a sales center project in Xi'an, China, completed in August 2020.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ONE-CU Interior Design Lab's latest project, Xi'an Vanke Pleasant Mansion, redefines the concept of a sales center. The design draws inspiration from the relationship between interior and exterior spaces, guiding the functionality of the site while establishing an orderly hierarchy through composition and materials.
Geometric blocks of different materials intersect to create an interactive partition between virtual and real spaces, allowing natural light and shadows to play a significant role. The project covers a 950 square meter area and features stone, art glass, wood veneer, hand-made bronze, and paper as the primary materials.
The three-storey building houses a reception area, cultural exhibition hall, negotiation spaces, project display areas, and show flats of different types. The design team skillfully incorporates an inner courtyard surrounded by towering trees, a waterscape, and a glass-enclosed building, creating a tranquil environment.
The project, which started in April 2020, is a testament to the design team's dedication to exploring spatial arrangements and cultural narratives. By discarding excessive expressions and embracing warm, natural materials, the team has successfully crafted a space that invites tranquility and reflection.
