Residence of Yang Renovation Project

Chen Yan Teng's "Residence of Yang" is a remarkable renovation project that breathes new life into an old house, creating a bright, spacious, and warm home. The design draws inspiration from the owner's lifestyle, utilizing the beam column structure to open up the space and introduce natural light. The unique features include an open circulation, inclined TV wall, and practical storage solutions, all realized through a combination of white and natural wood grain color scheme.

The renovation project faced challenges in reorganizing the foundation engineering for an old house, overcoming moisture-proof and pipeline rearrangement obstacles. The result is a space that seamlessly integrates the practical with the aesthetic, creating a comfortable and inviting environment for the family.

Chen Yan Teng, based in Taipei, Taiwan, has been recognized for this outstanding design with an Iron A' Design Award in 2020. The project showcases the designer's ability to transform limitations into advantages, creating a home that reflects the unique life of its owner.
