A' Design Award Winner Jian Zhang Unveils Hidden House, a Modern Residential Space in Taishan, China
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jian Zhang, a renowned designer from Jinan, China, has unveiled Hidden House, a modern residential space nestled in the mountains of Taishan, China. Inspired by the harmony of nature and architecture, this 450 square meter space seamlessly blends regional style with modern techniques, creating a unique Northern temperament.
Built within the mountains, Hidden House showcases a seamless blend of natural and artificial landscapes. The use of local Taishan Stone and lime plaster preserves the tradition of the region, while modern construction techniques ensure a contemporary touch. The design emphasizes the connection between space and nature, creating an environment that exists harmoniously with the natural surroundings.
The interior of Hidden House features ancient stone walls that provide natural insulation, keeping the space warm in winter and cool in summer. Large French windows allow natural light to illuminate the living spaces, connecting the indoors with the vibrant outdoor scenery. Wooden ring beams support the weight of the ceiling, distributing the load on the stone walls and adding to the unique character of the space.
Jian Zhang's Warmth Design Studio, specializing in villa and cultural creative space design, has been recognized for its innovative approach to interior design. The studio's commitment to creating warm and natural spaces that reflect the cultural background has earned it numerous design awards, including the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award for Hidden House in 2020.
