Award-winning designer KAN, SHIH MING unveils the innovative "Ink Highlight" residential project, completed in Taiwan in 2021, showcasing a unique blend of functionality and aesthetics.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KAN, SHIH MING's "Ink Highlight" project redefines modern residential design with a focus on optimal space distribution for family interaction and cohesion. The design concept seamlessly integrates functionality and aesthetics, providing a comfortable and visually appealing living space for the owner.
The 150-square-meter space features Italian thin tiles with ink patterns on the dining table panel, beige stone TV wall, and natural pattern wallpapers, maintaining a consistent and harmonious visual theme throughout the residence.
The public domain of the residence boasts a large functional complex serving as a dining table, a center island, and a bar. The entire surface of the large dining table is made of a splash-ink-landscape Italian marble board, creating a visually stunning and functional centerpiece for the space.
Constructed in 2021 and completed in September of the same year in Taiwan, the "Ink Highlight" project represents a meticulous approach to interior design, balancing white and grey tones with warmth from wood materials to create a modern yet inviting atmosphere.
KAN, SHIH MING's innovative approach overcame challenges posed by the original structure, efficiently repurposing irregular spaces to avoid spatial shortcomings and enhance the overall functionality of the residence.
