FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tang Cheng-Wen, the founder of SophySoulDesign, has completed the renovation of Warm Flower Room Slow Hours, a vintage-inspired residence located in Taipei City, Taiwan. The project, which finished in June 2020, involved the transformation of an old single-story residence into a cozy living space, spanning 108 square meters.
The renovation was tailored to meet the demands of the single owner, resulting in the alteration of the original three rooms into two, effectively reducing the unused corridor and expanding the public area. The design team drew inspiration from the owner's passion for vintage objects, cooking, floriculture, and occasional social gatherings, which is reflected in the rich textures and vintage furniture collection integrated into the space.
Utilizing various materials and techniques, the renovation introduced unique features such as iron and glass folding doors, different flooring materials, and a brownish-red longitudinal kitchen island, which not only added functionality but also enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the space. The project's open settlement planning fosters a sense of belonging and relaxation, offering an interactive and diversified living experience for the owner and occasional guests.
