DLCA Architects introduces the Hong Guang Hotel, a modern and luxurious space inspired by Chinese classical gardens, located in Wuhan, China, completed in June 2019.

DLCA Architects, under the leadership of Chief Designer Lichen Ding, unveils the Hong Guang Hotel, a 600-square-meter space with a height of 3.5 meters. The design draws inspiration from Chinese classical gardens, integrating Oriental life philosophy and art into contemporary design, creating a space for dialogue with the current Chinese elite.
With a focus on spatial order and elegance, the design incorporates traditional courtyard hierarchical relationships, creating a three-hall-in-one state. The use of wood finishes, cloth, stainless steel wire, metal, and stone brings the space to life, reflecting a modern, open, natural, and artistic ambiance.
The project, which began in December 2018, faced challenges in managing the survey, design, and construction simultaneously. Efficient communication and mutual trust were key to its success. The design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design in 2020, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious attributes.
