Chen-Hung Ho's residential design project, Idyll Time, offers a serene villa-like home for a semi-retired couple, blending minimalist styles with unique features to create a harmonious and warm living space in Taipei, Taiwan.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chen-Hung Ho's Idyll Time project is a 28.9 square meter residential space that infuses warmth and elegance through the use of wood-like marble, white color palettes, and green accents. The design creates an urban oasis with a planted wall, blending life, emotions, and memories into a poetic time.
The space features wood-like marble, paint system cabinets, and diatom mud wall paint, along with solid wood island type wood flooring, creating a durable and harmonious living environment. The project also incorporates epoxy resin and curing agent for a strong adhesive tile caulk in the bathroom, ensuring durability and mildew-proof effects.
One of the key challenges was to use multiple colors in the same space without overwhelming the design. Through meticulous color comparison and material selection, the design achieved a unique spatial style that emphasizes a simple and fresh aesthetic, with smooth traffic flow circulation planning and barrier-free design to enhance functionality and safety.
Chen-Hung Ho's Idyll Time project commenced in May 2021 and was completed in December 2021 in Taipei, Taiwan. The design integrates the preferences and personalities of the owners, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere while incorporating functional elements such as a mini coffee bar and smooth traffic flow circulation planning.
