Vault Design Lab has unveiled Rouge In Wood, a contemporary waterfront townhouse that draws inspiration from the natural beauty of its surroundings. Situated in Penang, Malaysia, this residential house is a stunning integration of natural stone, wood, and greenery, creating a tropical Bali-style haven. The townhouse offers a perfect blend of nature and architecture, providing a serene escape from the urban hustle and bustle.

The three-story waterfront apartment spans 4630sqft and features an infinity pool at the rooftop, offering breathtaking views of the waterfront. The interior boasts woodgrain decoration, decent furniture, and timber cladding on the ceiling, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The design team at Vault Design Lab has meticulously crafted this waterside sanctuary, emphasizing the spirit of craftsmanship and elegance in every detail.

Starting in November 2016 and completed in July 2017, Rouge In Wood is a testament to the seamless integration of natural elements with exquisite craftsmanship. The project presented several challenges, particularly in handling authentic natural materials in a seaside location. Vault Design Lab overcame these obstacles to create a stunning piece of architecture that harmonizes with its natural surroundings.
