Greenland Huangpu Center Office Redefines the Working Space with Innovative Design

CHINA -- /ARCHITECTURE/newswire -- Sep 14, 2019

Junlong Yuan's "OFFICE+" theme project, completed in November 2019, offers an immersive, efficient, and environmentally conscious workspace in Shanghai.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Greenland Huangpu Center Office

Junlong Yuan, the chief designer, and his team at G-Art Architecture and Interior Design have redefined the concept of office space with their latest project, the Greenland Huangpu Center Office. The "OFFICE+" theme project, completed in November 2019, aims to inspire a people-oriented, smart, and innovative working environment. The design abstracts the dynamic view and artistic conception of Huangpu River into the space, increasing the emotional connection between space and people while stimulating inspiration and creativity.

The innovative design follows three key points: space serves people, functions serve people, and it creates a new working ecological system that can refine working forms and offer personal solutions. The use of low-cost parametric design and innovative materials has resulted in an immersive experience and an artistic ambiance, enhancing the workspace's efficiency and communication capabilities.

The project, which covers a construction area of 1,980 square meters and a usable interior area of 1,580 square meters, was awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2020 for its trendsetting and outstanding design. The project faced challenges in expressing the "OFFICE+" theme, but the team's creative use of graphical design methods and tailored materials has resulted in a beautiful and elegant space that reflects the essence of Shanghai's skyline.
