Mori Green Memory: A Fusion of Art Deco Elegance and European Street Charm

10 POINTS Interior Design has unveiled its latest project, Mori Green Memory, a captivating commercial space located in Taipei City, Taiwan. The design draws inspiration from the historical context and cultural characteristics of the site, integrating delicate design thinking and exquisite craftsmanship to create a unique spatial appearance. The exterior of the building seamlessly blends with the streetscape, exuding an elegant European street ambiance, inviting visitors to experience a stroll through a European setting.

Diverging from conventional Japanese-style yakiniku restaurants, Mori Green Memory embraces the luxurious and elegant Art Deco style, incorporating deep, dark colors, metal decorations, and LED light bars to evoke a refined and vintage atmosphere. The interior space harmoniously integrates classic aesthetics of different eras, playing with geometric shapes, fine craftsmanship, and vibrant Art Deco colors.

The project's realization involved the use of various materials, including Metal HPL, hollow board, iron, titanium plate gold, marble table, plastic aluminum plate, hexagonal floor tiles, and terrazzo. The design spans approximately 231 square meters and encompasses a reception area, dining space, VIP area, bar, kitchen, toilet, and waiting area.

10 POINTS Interior Design's meticulous planning and spatial reorganization have enhanced the dining environment, optimizing the space for smooth circulation and increased customer capacity. The well-designed interiors have revolutionized the traditional barbecue restaurant style, ensuring the establishment's competitiveness in a bustling business district.

The design project, completed in June 2019, was a culmination of extensive research and creative problem-solving. The team successfully integrated the elegance of European streets into the design, infusing the space with the captivating atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s. Overcoming challenges such as construction scheduling and addressing water leakage issues, the team has created a space that epitomizes quality and uniqueness.

10 POINTS Interior Design's Mori Green Memory project has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This accolade celebrates the project's outstanding creativity, technical prowess, and its contribution to enhancing the quality of life through innovative design.
