Discover the Unique Origami-inspired Reception Center in Zhongshan District, Taipei City, Designed by Jheng-Syuan Hong
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jheng-Syuan Hong presents the Origami Science reception center, a groundbreaking architectural marvel located in Zhongshan District, Taipei City. Inspired by the art of origami and the concept of Green Field, this project reimagines traditional Chinese paper-cut arts and seamlessly integrates them into a modern architectural masterpiece.
The reception center features three distinct buildings, each serving a different function, and is designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia while embracing the future. The innovative use of materials such as PVC pipes, terrazzo tiles, and honeycomb paper creates a unique visual and tactile experience for visitors.
With a focus on natural lighting and ventilation, the design team has achieved a harmonious balance between the interior and exterior spaces, creating an inviting and immersive environment for all who visit.
