Boguslaw Barnas Unveils a Sustainable Residential Project in Poland
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Boguslaw Barnas, a renowned architect, introduces a sustainable residential project, Eco House, nestled in the protected landscape area Nature 2000 in Poland. The house is designed to optimize energy gain and loss, blending unique technology with architectural form to harmonize with nature.
The Eco House stands out with its location in the picturesque Nature 2000 area, surrounded by beech and oak forests, horse riding meadows, and agricultural lands. The design process involved meticulous analysis, including functional plan division, solar radiation assessment, and simulations of sun positions to create a space that maximizes natural light and minimizes heat loss.
The house boasts a spacious day zone with a 5-meter open height, featuring a striking concrete wall and bearing mounting stairs. Utilizing energy-efficient Izodom technology, the design ensures minimal heat loss while optimizing solar gain and reducing overheating. The project was awarded Bronze in A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award in 2023, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious sustainable design.
